PictureThe Town of Wilmington Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) is a locally prepared comprehensive land and water use plan for the Town's natural, public, and developed waterfront resources along the Ausable River, Lake Everest, and the Beaver, Stephenson, White, and Red Brooks.

The Town of Wilmington LWRP provides a comprehensive framework within which critical waterfront issues can be addressed, and planned waterfront improvement projects can be pursued and implemented. The Town of Wilmington LWRP was adopted by the Wilmington Town Board on March 9, 2010 and approved by the New York State Secretary of State on April 20, 2010.

The Town of Wilmington is concentrating its efforts on finding necessary funding to complete the improvements to the Lake Everest Town Park, a public recreation landmark located along the Ausable River.
